Scots pines reflected in autumnal Blea Tarn

Blea Tarn Scots pine

Scots pine reflected in Blea Tarn with Raven Crag in the background.

I have seen this pine many times before and always felt sorry for it as it looks as if it is being pushed into the water by the bigger trees next to it. The resilient little pine has been there for years fighting for its little bit of land though and is unlikely to give up any time soon.
