Dubs Hut bothy in august heather with path to Haystacks

Dubs Hut bothy panorama

The old quarry on the high plateau behind Fleetwith Pike is home to Dubs Hut bothy. Once a mining hut it now serves as an overnight refuge.

This panoramic photo of the hut was taken in august when the heather was in flower. The path leading away in the distance skirts the head of the Warnscale Valley before heading up to the summit of Haystacks.
