wolds poetry bench above horse dale on bright autumnal dawn

Poetry bench on The Wolds Way

In 2011 six poetry benches were placed at locations on the 79-mile Wolds Way as part of the ‘Wander’ project. Each bench has been etched with the words of Scarborough poet John Wedgewood Clarke.

This is the poetry bench overlooking Horse Dale near Huggate at sunrise on a bright autumn day.
