evening view of yorkshire three peaks from stone cairns / stone men on wild boar fell

The Stone Men of Wild Boar Fell

The Yorkshire Three Peaks as seen from the ‘stone men’ of Wild Boar Fell above the upper reaches of the Eden Valley.

The peak of Pen-y-ghent can just be seen on the left on the horizon and Whernside is the triangular peak to the right. Finally Ingleborough, the third of the peaks, is the flat-topped peak to the left of Whernside.

This photo was taken during a wild camp on Wild Boar Fell.
