Birkdale Common railway wagon
Birkdale Common is a vast area of wilderness at the head of Swaledale and is probably about as remote as its possible to be in the Dales. I love the area.
Near the small lane that crosses the moor is this dilapidated railway wagon that used to be used to store feed. Nowadays all that it offers though is great long distance views over the common to Great Shunner Fell.
