Black Scar House on Birkdale Common
The ruin of Black Scar House on Birkdale Common, very close to the Yorkshire-Cumbria border..
The building was probably used by shepherds as a place to stay while tending their flock but has since fallen into disrepair. I entered it during this storm but holes in the roof meant it offered limited shelter.
