An autumnal dawn panoramic photograph taken from the shores of Blea Tarn.
On an exceptional day out in the fells, Blea Tarn was my first stop to watch dawn. Having parked at the small National Trust car park I walked down to the shore and watched as the sun rose.
The photo is the result of stitching six smaller photographs together producing an almost complete view of Blea Tarn with the Langdale Pikes in the background flanked in the middle distance by Kettle Crag and Side Pike.
The full tale of this day out in the fells is the my blog entry about a hike up Cold Pike.
