The tidy cairn of Bonscale Tower on Bonscale Fell sits atop a precipitous drop down to Ullswater.
The true summit of Bonscale Fell is marked by a much less impressive cairn a few metres above this. However the views from there aren’t as good and it’s well worth the short climb down to this vantage point.
