The Buttermere lone tree on the edge of the lake is a very popular photo subject.
Found at the village end of Buttermere, the elderly birch is normally seen with Fleetwith Pike in the background. However on the winter’s day I took this photo visibility was minimal but it was very still so some reflections could be seen.
