Buying Prints of Photos

Prints of my photos are supplied by FineArtAmerica.com and are very well packaged before being shipped from their fulfillment centre via DHL to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.

In the unlikely event that you’re not entirely happy with the print they do offer a returns service. As they say on their website:

Our return policy is very simple: If you’re not happy with a purchase that you made on FineArtAmerica.com, for any reason, you can return it to us within 30 days of the order date. As soon as it arrives, we’ll issue a full refund for the entire purchase price. Please note – Fine Art America does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality.

Also, please note the prints are shipped without a watermark!

The images are arranged into collections, equivalent to a gallery, and there are seven to select from: The Lake District, The Eden Valley, Yorkshire Dales, North York Moors, Yorkshire Wolds, Yorkshire Miscellaneous and Scotland.

Each image is available in a variety of wall art formats as well as greetings cards.

I often have both landscape and portrait versions of a print so should you not see what you’re looking for please contact me using the menu option in the site header.

Selecting a Framed Photo Print to Buy

Prints are available to buy in a range of sizes from 10″x6.5″ (255mm x 165mm) up to 60″x40″ (1520mm x 10160mm) on a variety of different types of paper. Personally I believe the default ‘Luster Photo Paper’ is more than good enough for most purposes.

Should framing be required two extra choices are required: the frame type and if a mat is wanted what colour is it to be. A range of different frames and colours of mat are available. The mat covers the gap between the edge of the photo print and the frame.

It would be impossible to offer advice on what combination suits what photo as this is dependant on where the framed photo is to hang as well as personal taste. However I often think that picking a mat colour to show off the photo at its best and a frame to suit the surrounding wall is a good approach. Below is a photo of a framed print sent out to one customer.
