Crags of Maiden Moor
A view of the crags on the western flank of Maiden Moor from Causey Pike.
The eastern side of Maiden Moor facing Derwent Water is a fairly dull grassy slope. However on the other side of the ridge it is quite the opposite: a precipitous, craggy fellside cut into by many gills.
