Mists hanging over a calm Ullswater under blue-red pre-dawn skies.
While heading to Kirkstone Pass early one winter’s morning I saw that Ullswater was very calm and mists were forming. I needed to make a decision: keep on driving to get to where I wanted to be for dawn or pull over and risk being too late? After some thought while passing a number of lay-bys I eventually pulled over near Glencoyne Bay to grab this photo.
