The Langdale Pikes caught in the red glow of pre-dawn, reflected in Elter Water.
Having dashed down to the lake shore to make it before dawn I had to spend some time scaring some swans away as they were ruining the reflections. Once they had gone Elter Water became very calm and the reflections returned as the sun rose. I then had to decide what the best viewpoint was and this one won.
Hopefully it was worth is as I had to roll my trousers up and stand in the freezing cold lake to take it!
