Glaramara is the highest point on the long ridge separating Grains Gill and the Langstrath Valley in Borrowdale.
This panoramic photo of the ridge’s summit was taken on a wild camping trip at Sprinkling Tarn, one of many attempts to get some summer sunrise photographs there. On this occasion dawn was not so good and resulted in no photographs. And the sun only made a brief appearance the evening before. Luckily when it did I had my camera to hand and took some shots of the ridge. Later I stitched them together to produce this large panorama showing the ridge riven by the Red Beck ravine.
