There was a bitterly cold northerly blowing when I walked over Great Carrs and I was sorely tempted to keep on moving to try to stay warm. However I knew I’d regret it if I didn’t stop for just one photo. And this is the photo I took showing Swirl How with Coniston Old Man and Dow Crag beyond.
