Mist over Greendale Tarn
Greendale Tarn is nestled at the head of the Greendale Valley between Seatallan and Middle Fell. I paused here on my way up the Middle Fell, hoping the delay in reaching the summit would give the sky chance to clear. In short it didn’t.
The lack of any wind meant the mist hung around all day but this did give me an opportunity to grab this atmospheric shot.
