The summit ridge of High Rigg above St. Johns in the Vale on a stormy winter’s day.

I love walking on days like this but rarely get the camera out as rain on the lens ruins the shot. However the storm on this day was a hailstorm so that wasn’t as much of an issue and I managed to grab this photo while being pelted by hailstones.

Ok, so the hail ruined any long distance views but as the hailstones only settled on the path my route finding was easier than ever.
