Howstead Brow on Beda Fell
Howstead Brow is the quickest route up Beda Fell from Martindale Old Church. Beyond Beda Fell the ridge leads to the mountain pass of Boredale Hause. The footpath might only be a short climb but with many twists and turns on the route it is highly recommended.
This is the view of Howstead Brow from Hallin Fell one summer sunset.
