The view of the track leading over heather-covered Ivelet Moor above Swaledale. Leading off right from the main track, the footpath leading down into Swinner Gill can just be seen.


I had been up to the summit cairn on Rogan’s Seat but its not much of a view from up there. While slowly heading back down to Keld when I reached this point on Ivelet Moor: a great place to pause for a break while admiring the overlapping layers of fells leading off into the distance.
