Grafitti on sandstone wall inside Lacys Cave

Lacy’s Caves wall detail

Lacy’s caves, near Little Salkeld, have been carved into a sandstone cliff that overlooks the River Eden. The caves themselves are made up of five separate chambers.

This photograph was taken on a walk from Little Salkeld and shows some detail of one of the cave room’s walls complete with graffiti.
