A dramatic sunset over the Lingcove Beck Valley, seen from Three Tarns.
The sunset was all but over and I thought my photography was done for the day however it made one last, brief appearance. Fortunately I was ready with my camera at the western edge of the pass overlooking the upper reaches of the valley.
Afterwards the walk back down into Langdale in the dark was all the more enjoyable having bagged this photo.
