A bitterly cold winter’s day in the fells ended with about the only sunlight I saw all day. Seeing the chance of a photo I walked down the path towards Wasdale, set up my kit and waited in the howling wind. Just before sunset, the sun made a brief appearance and despite the wind I managed to grab a couple of photos, this being my favourite.
