Loughrigg Fell trig point view of Easedale under cloudy skies

Loughrigg Fell summit

As Loughrigg Fell separates Great Langdale from Easedale it should offer great views of both valleys. However it doesn’t as the fell itself covers quite a large area and the summit is well set back from both valleys.

Loughrigg is a great place to explore though and it does offer superb long distance views. The above photo shows the view looking north-west from the trig point over Easedale, Grasmere Lake just being visible.
