Catbells and Skiddaw from Maiden Moor summit

Maiden Moor vista

After an early morning climb to the top of Maiden Moor, my efforts were rewarded with this view.

In the foreground the small craggy outcrop on the summit is highlighted by the low angle of the sun, while in the middle distance the lower summit of Catbells points towards the bulky peak of Skiddaw on the skyline. To the right, over Derwent Water, Blencathra can also be seen under its own little cloud.
