I have walked along the Cumbria Way track in the Mickleden Valley many times before. And normally when I do I’m shattered as its often at the end of a long walk.
The morning this photo was taken was no exception as it was following a stormy night’s camping at Angle Tarn. While walking back down the Mickleden track I was keen to accept any excuse to take a break and ended up taking a few photos. This one was probably my favourite.
