Newlands Beck meanders its way through fields, slowly making its way to Bassenthwaite Lake.
This aerial view of the beck was taken from Maiden Moor where I was taking a break. It was my last summit of a long day out and as I relaxed I saw the late evening light catching the tops of the trees lining the beck.
