Middle Fell above Wasdale is one of my favourite small fells in the Lakes. The view of Wast Water Screes and the Scafell range from the summit are superb.
This photo was taken having climbed up the valley of Greendale, past Greendale Tarn and onto the Middle Fell’s summit ridge. The summit cairn and its wonderful views are just up ahead.
