Pen-y-ghent dry stone wall
Having climbed Pen-y-ghent in Ribblesdale, the smallest of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks, I decided to wait around for a while before returning to where I had parked at Helwith Bridge to see what would happen with the light as it had been nothing special.
It turned out to be worth my while as the light improved before sunset to allow me to take this photograph, the wall forming the perfect lead-in line.
