River Brathay dawn mist
Taken on a very still and misty morning on the banks of the River Brathay, this trip almost resulted in no photographs whatsoever as visibility was so limited. In the end the sun did eventually burn off enough mist to allow some sort of view but it took its time.
This was the view from the banks of the river downstream from Elterwater showing a copse of beech trees on a grassy knoll peeking through the mist.
