coppiced beech wood and bluebells at Robin Hoods Howl

Robin Hood’s Howl bluebells

Bluebells growing in Robin Hood’s Howl, a small coppiced woodland near Kirkbymoorside in the North York Moors.

Robin Hoods Howl is mostly covered in flowing wild garlic in the spring but there are small pockets of bluebells to be found too. More details about my visit there can be read in my bluebells and ramsons blog entry
