Sheffield Pike commands a great view over Ullswater from above Glenridding. The view from the summit itself is good but better ones are obtained by dropping down to the crags east of the summit.
There was precious little sunlight on this winter’s day on the fell but, after waiting a while, a bit of light lit up the view in front of me.
