Smardale walled track

The short valley of Smardale meets the Eden to the north of Kirkby Stephen. Its probably best known for the disused railway running through Smardale Gill which is well worth walking along.

This attractive walled track is near the hamlet of Ravenstonedale in the upper reaches of the dale.
