Stock Ghyll Force: a 70 foot tall waterfall in the beck of Stock Ghyll near Ambleside.
Being only a short walk from the centre of Ambleside, its rare to have a view of the falls to yourself. I wisely picked a dreary, rainy day when England were playing football and this seemed to help and I could work uninterrupted. Thanks to it being a very still evening it only took a few attempts to get an image where the leaves were all sharp.
