A very deserted summit of the Old Man of Coniston catching the first light of dawn.
It wasn’t yet 5am when this photo was taken so the lack of anyone else being there was no great surprise! This is one of the many perks of making an early start, made slightly easier by camping on Brim Fell the night before.
The cloud inversion below was an additional bonus.
