Line of Thwaite barns in flowering wildflower meadows.
I spotted these barns while driving back to Cumbria from Swaledale, along the small road linking Swaledale to Kirkby Stephen. In my opinion this is just about the most scenic drive in the Yorkshire Dales.
As I drove up the hill between Thwaite and Keld I glanced back down the valley and saw this line of barns in the meadows below.
