rocky ridge towards crinkle crags reflected in partly frozen three tarns under atmospheric winter grey skies

Towards Crinkle Crags

A view over one of the Three Tarns on the ridge at the head Great Langdale between Bow Fell and Crinkle Crags.

The clouds were rolling in just before sunset but fortunately the wind was low enough to allow for some reflections and a few photos. This picture shows the view over one of the tarns towards a cloud-enveloped Crinkle Crags.
