This photograph was taken on a rare trip to the Troutbeck Valley, on a walk from the village up the Hagg Gill Valley.
While wandering around this quiet corner of the Lakes I did wonder why I don’t come here more often. I guess part of the attraction is that it seems most people don’t. Apart from the odd farmer, I barely saw anyone on this overcast day.
