Sunset over Ullswater
On my way back from a great hike at Hartsop I noticed that there was a chance of a good sunset over Ullswater as the lake was very still. I pulled over at Glencoyne Bay and grabbed this quick photograph looking towards the head of the valley as the sun set. I did try to take a second panoramic photograph but by then the wind had picked up and the moment had gone.
Place Fell is on the left, with Caudale Moor in the background and Birks on the right.
