Newlands Beck flows under High Spy crags

Upper Newlands Beck

Newlands Beck flows from Dalehead Tarn down into the Newlands Valley between crags on the shoulders of Dale Head and High Spy.

This photo was taken from Scope End on the climb up Hindscarth on the other side of the Newlands Horseshoe and shows the upper reaches of the beck as it drops down a series of cascades before reaching the valley floor.
