The Honister road and Gatesgarthdale Beck weave their way down Honister Pass.
This is the view from Dale Head, taken while doing the Newlands Round – a very popular Lakeland horseshoe walk. I had intended to get a decent photograph of the Newlands Valley but it was shrouded in cloud so I turned round and saw some light over the road and beck meandering down from Honister Pass towards Buttermere.
