About Great Langdale
Great Langdale – one of the most popular valleys in the Lake District and a particular favourite of mine, as evidenced by the number of photographs I have taken in this area.
Ringed at the head of the valley by superb fells such as Crinkle Crags, Bow Fell and the Langdale Pikes, possible the most distinctive fell in the entire Lake District.
And for post hike relaxation the Langdale Valley plays host to the popular Old and New Dungeon Ghyll pubs as well as the picture postcard villages of Chapel Stile and Elterwater.
